We have gotten our exercise book (someone gave it to us) adjusted to fit me. It is very hard to adjust, taking great strength. I tried it yesterday for the first time. I am starting very slowly, counting strokes rather than minutes, till I build up more strength. I did 50 strokes forward and 50 backward on medium resistance; and the same number on minimum resistance, faster. Does this sound like I'm on the right track for a beginner? It seems good for my elderly body and weak knees.
